Mongolia's industrial landscape is heavily dominated by the mining sector, creating a massive demand for heavy-duty reinforced mesh. However, the extreme continental climate, with temperatures swinging from -40°C to +40°C, puts immense stress on a wire mesh welding machine, often leading to premature wear of electronic components and mechanical fatigue.
Currently, many local workshops rely on outdated manual processes or refurbished equipment. This lack of automation in the production of expanded metal and welded mesh hinders the rapid expansion of infrastructure projects in Ulaanbaatar and the surrounding mining hubs like Oyu Tolgoi.
There is a growing shift toward adopting high-efficiency mesh welding machine technology that offers better energy efficiency and precision, as the Mongolian government pushes for modernized industrialization to reduce reliance on imported structural mesh.
